While the series concluded satisfyingly, this particular book fell short of expectations. It didn’t even begin to reach the high standards set by its predecessors, the plot hardly followed the previous books and in my opinion Adam and Naya were NOTHING like Jarrod and Leigh. The romance took off abruptly, shifting from dislike to "can't breathe without each other." While there was development in the relationship amid missions, I wished for a more gradual relationship progression throughout the book. I would recommend stopping at book 2.
