Beau Eaton hasn’t quite managed to knock Daddy Cade off his top spot but he came in very close! Having now finished this series I feel at a loss of what I want to read next as I have loved these so much!
Beau is an ex special forces solider, who has now left the military and is dealing with an injury, Bailey thinks of herself as the twin pariah as no one accepts her due to her family. Beau thinks by giving her his last night he can change that, so they come to an agreement of a fake engagement, however it doesn’t stay fake for long.
I laughed out loud due to the banter in this book, not just between all the family (which are some of my favourite moments of all theses books) but Bailey’s lack of filter and how this always takes Beau by surprises is hysterical. Whilst Bailey might never have been with a man she is so very curious, and has a whole box full of toys that tortures Beau through out.
As always the spice in this book was something special, and Beau is definitely a possessive man who likes to mark his territory in all the best ways.
I love that they grow alongside each other, and help each other with their struggles. Bailey is able to help Beau with his trauma and injury and he is able to help her with her image of herself and her self belief. All the ladies in this immediately took Bailey under her wing and that is the ride or die friends who become family that we all need and it made me so happy for Bailey to see her like this.
I really enjoyed this whole series but I was super excited for Beau’s story, and it did not disappoint, there are so many scenes in here I will be thinking about for a loooong time to come, the ferris wheel, the bath, the box of toys!
I will be so sad to not revisit the Eaton’s as I have loved each and every one of them.
Spicy cowboy ranch based romance, whatmore could you need!
