Amara's Farm

Distinguished because look at your seasonal books and tell me how many Black children you see (I bet not many). This may be a needed book for your collection for representation. It's also a good book for identifying and talking about a variety of fruits and vegetables. And I am just going to go ahead and assume that all the fruits and vegetables she talks about in the book are harvested at the same time in California (apples, cauliflower, kiwi, persimmons, okra, eggplant, kumquat, potatoes, etc.).
