Flight of Magpies by KJ Charles

4.0

This is the book we often see in multi-book series revolving around the same romance, where the honeymoon stage of the romance is over and the characters have a big fight over something that could destroy their relationship. It's not done badly, though - both characters are under a lot of stress, and they finally snap.

The mystery in this book is a good horror concept, and ties the trilogy up nicely. It also introduces Jonah Pastern, who is a fun character.
