I'm all for a non-binary queer romance and its very apparent that the author wanted to write this story and I was excited to read it! The main characters where flawed in the their own ways sure but their relationship was not good, unhealthy even. Elsie was childish and not considerate of others. Ginny was kind of bland and they were really the bright spot of this story truly. I just feel that they didn't really find themselves as the book suggested they did. Its very telling that I thought the male ex fiancée had more growth than the actual main characters did. And this book was mostly sex, nothing against smut but I would have preferred the characters had more heart to hearts or something to deepen their connection on page instead of saying it was strong (SHOW ME THE CHEMISTRY PLEASE). I had high hopes for this because I loved "Something To Talk About" & "Mistakes Were Made" and it just was not clicking with me and I am sad about it.
