This was my first Kennedy Ryan book, and it will definitely not be my last. I laughed, I cried, I got angry, and I hoped. This is so much deeper than just a romance book, and there is definitely some spice! I fell in love with the characters. I cried through their traumas and cheered their triumphs. I loved so much about this book, but I especially loved the therapy. Multiple characters see therapists, and there’s such a stigma around it, especially when it comes to Black men, that I was just so excited to see it. Can’t wait for the next book to come out next month!
