I have mixed feelings about this book. The concept is very unique, and it’s impressive that the author is able to maintain any sense of interest in a story that has such minimal plot. It is often repetitive and boring. I found the characters to be somewhat unrealistic and unlikeable. However, in the end, the book is thought-provoking and effective in its bleak aims.
