I really enjoyed this, as a hopeful pessimist. Zizek will f you up a little bit, this is a book that challenged some of my views on nato, arms, and the path to toppling empire… I don’t agree with everything he lays down in this book, but he’s certainly bringing up some important points on the rocky road that lies ahead in terms of possibly violent revolution, climate chaos, and maintaining democracy (or not).
