This book definitely leans more vibes than plot and had no business being 400 pages for this reason. I really enjoyed the first half but I ultimately needed more conflict to drive the story. Honestly, I would have preferred a third act break up to generate some stakes. 

Both characters are likeable and Aiden is such a sweet, caring golden retriever that it’s hard not to love him. Will definitely continue the series!
