idk what to say like…no, i didn’t understand a lot of this book at first. yes, i did read the wikipedia after finishing to make sure i actually understood what was happening.
…and none of that bothered me. i love this author’s writing style. i love the world and characters shes created. she got me to care about harrow more than i ever thought i would! the narration was unique and so much fun (i love second person, ok!). i will be continuing on!!
august reread:
the narrative the style the plot the characters the lore the everything is so good harrow i love u the most (don’t tell gideon - though she’d probably agree) !!! might reread nona next bc i love being in this world so much 🥹
