Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow by Yuval Noah Harari

5.0

I hereby officially declare Harari one of my favourite authors. In Sapiens, he described how we, as a species, got here. In Homo Deus, he asks where do we go from here. Having (mostly) defeated once unsurpassable enemies such as war, plague and famine, we as a species look for new frontiers, taking on even bigger challenges - defying laws of nature, cheating death and even creating new forms of life itself. This book, same as Sapiens, makes you question a lot things - not just your existence but also the society, dogmas and relativity of our own self. 5 stars.
