Tide and Punishment by Bree Baker

4.0

Set around Christmas, this book had a lot of twists and turns (ha) and there was quite a bit of holiday cheer, in spite of the murder that inevitably happened. I enjoyed the characters and seeing them develop and grow, as well as the new characters that were introduced. The story moved along quickly, yet didn't feel rushed. It was fun to see who they thought was the killer and also see Everly try as hard as she could NOT to get into trouble. As usual, Fran and Clara were adorable and I just wanted to snuggle with the animals. It was nice to see the friendship develop between Everly and Grady as well. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book!
