Wintering: The Power of Rest and Retreat in Difficult Times by Katherine May

2.0

I liked this book fine. It was a comfortable, cozy read. It fits nicely into the genre of mild self-help. A little boring. A little redundant. A little shy?

I am also a little annoyed at someone in Whitstable writing about winter when winter in whitstable seems barely a winter. That’s my problem though. Not her fault. Haha.

This book makes me want to celebrate the solstice more thoroughly. And she made me miss swimming. That’s all.
