The Dark Days Club by Alison Goodman

OMG this book was so boring. I picked this book back up because the library was closed over New Years and nothing else was calling to me. While I appreciate the lengths the author went to to make this historically accurate, I don't know why you worry about that when writing a demon hunting story. There's something weird to me about making one of the sort of love interests 7-8ish years older when the MC is 18 (I get it; different time period, etc., but it was weird for me to get over). And the demon feeding/defense whips struck me as just strange. It was hard for me to get past for some reason. Also, this book resolved nothing. I kind of don't know that it could stand on its own as there is not really any resolution at the end.
