I read Hamlet when I was very small and it passed into family legend though I protest that I didn't understand it, but the emo prince occupied a place in my heart that the Macbeth duo dislodged when I read this. Eerie, fast paced and with a terrific portrayal of minds unravelling, I think Macbeth is my favourite Shakes play now.
