I read this book in one sitting. When I finished it I continued to cry for a good 5 minutes. I can't stop thinking about it.
Where to start.....
𝑻𝒉𝒆 π‘Ύπ’“π’Šπ’•π’Šπ’π’ˆ. Oh the writing. The writing had me totally hooked from the first page (which doesn't happen often). It's got a touch of Jane austen with the most beautiful and whimsical writing. Yet fast paced and left me wanting the next book now (Ruthless Vows releases January 3rd 2024).
𝑻𝒉𝒆 π‘ͺ𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔. Roman Kitt. Oh, Kitt. I fell in love with him and his story. His handsome, wealthy and the perfect Son. Until he meets the strong, opinionated and head strong Iris. She flips his life upside down.As this is YA there is almost no spice but there is enough romance and a strong plot that I didn't even notice.
π‘»π’‰π’† 𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒕. This for me felt like a historical fiction with a touch of magic. Set in the 1800's war time. Two gods are at war. Two typewriters enchanted. Music is feared and banned. Monsters are part of life. A fantastic mix of fantasy and historical fiction with a romance to tie all the characters together.

This is one of the best books I have read this year. If I could but this book for everyone I would. I can not recommend this book highly enough.
