Holly and Oak by J.L. O'Faolain

3.0

Ancient folklore brought to life in the fight betwwen winter and summer in a short story.
Liked the depictions of the two protagonists, Holly and Oak, as horned, gnarly, bearded men going through the motions again, using their magic to tip the fight.
The interaction with the mortal world and Sergio is quite poignant for Holly, would love to read more.
