Kiss The Rake Hello by Tracy Sumner
3.0
I’m rating this for what it is; a very short story.
3.5 stars
I enjoyed this for the most part but really felt like something was missing from it. The writing style was good, and the attraction between the two mains was palpable. I liked the reverse age-gap dynamics and that he had crushed on her his whole childhood while she found him a pest. I liked when they saw each other again after so many years that there was a deep attraction. This story made me interested to read more from this author. However… it was way too insta love for me. Even if he had loved her when he was ten, they never knew each other as adults and I felt like I needed way more development for everything in this. They went from lust to love in an heartbeat and I didn’t buy it. Also the last 30% of this book was previews and ads for other books by this author, making it even shorter than I expected. So this was good for what it was, but it wasn’t really much at all.
Thank you to BookSirens for the advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
