Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

I could not put this book down. Started and finished in the same day. It’s written in a different format and it took some getting used to at the start, but after a while it just made sense to see everyone’s point of view as the story progresses instead of changing point of view per chapter. It gave a unique spin and I appreciated it in the end. It’s almost like having everyone in the same room, telling the story in real time. I also love how the lyrics to the songs are in the back of the book - I can’t wait to see how they sound in the series on Prime. It’s on my list!
I really don’t want to say too much in fear of giving things away. I will say that, for Camile to have the beliefs and faith in Billy that she did throughout the whole book.. what she did towards the end kind of caught me off guard. I wasn’t expecting the last stretch of the book at all!
But I would definitely recommend this read - I put this book off for so long because I have trouble with a huge let down on overhyped books, but in this case, I think it was warranted.
