This book was too cute. Freya and Mac are so clearly made for each other from page 1 - it’s so clear. Her thoughts are my thoughts a lot of the time. We know how society sees us — there’s no getting around it. She’s so cute but damn is she naive and ignorant for someone almost 30 (not me turning 30 this year too) the Never Have I Ever scene gave me SUCHHHHH SECONDHAND EMBARRASSMENT!!!
SPOILER ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
The 3rd act breakup was hard — Mac said TERRIBLE things to push Freya away. As someone who suffered terrible grief myself (at a MUCH younger age granted) I somewhat understand his feelings in this aspect but DAMN. He’s 33 years old— he should know better. But we get the HEA we all want and DAMN was it exactly needed and enveloped their relationship perfectly
