Death in a Budapest Butterfly by Julia Buckley
3.0
3.5 stars - I love a cozy mystery where the cops are nice and work with the sleuth. It flows better for me. Even better when there’s a romance between the two!
I love all the Hungarian culture included within the story, from food to sadness and superstitions. I enjoyed the divination aspect without it coming across as magical.
The audio version had some issues, repeated words and missing parts. Not sure if it was my copy from Hoopla or if it is all copies. The voice and inflection didn’t always match the story for me.
