Horrible Histories Special: England by Terry Deary
2.0
2.5 stars
A funny little book, with comics and everything that tried to distract from the actual learning of it all. It was entertaining, but nothing truly special or notable. I would recommend a few parts to other people for a good laugh, but reading the whole book, even though it's rather small, sometimes felt tiring or like a chore, which is the exact kind of mindset they were trying to get away from.
So good in parts, but as a whole I definitely won't read again or follow up with others in the series.
(although I'm still a huge fan of the tv series)
