Mara is flourishing, Cole is adapting, but Shaw is waiting. The shadows arenโ€™t safe. Thereโ€™s an invisible clock ticking and time is running out. Mara is starting to become comfortable with Coleโ€™s life choices. Cole is showing her his darkness and his past.

The night of the show, the plan goes to hell. Mara is running for her life, Shaw is on her tail, and Cole is scrambling to save her. Will Shaw finish the job this time? Will Cole be able to reach her in time? Will Mara be able to survive the night?

I couldnโ€™t put this down! I truly enjoyed this Duet and if you like dark romance, READ THIS! These were my first introduction to Sophie Lark and Iโ€™m hooked. I cannot wait to read more of her books!
