Well, Olivia Riley is definitely my favorite alien romance author ! This one in particular was a great read. I absolutely loved Axrel and his need for vengeance (his past was so sad). Also, I realllllly liked how the two MCs connected. It was cute and realistic.
I would have wished for more of a "hate to love" romance in this book, but it was still good. A bit fast, tho far from insta love.
The only let down for me was the smut. All this build up for almost nothing. The first sex scene was wayyyyy to quick and didn't felt as satisfying as in Heart's prisoner or Xora. Apart from that, I really liked the context of the story. It was quite entertaining and there never was a dull moment.
I love the Vrisha and really hope there will be more books with this species !
