novelwitch 's review for:
Starlight
by Olivia Wildenstein
Out of the three books, Starlight was number 3 on the list 4/5 rating. As a completionist, I appreciated the closure this story brings to the series. I will say I enjoyed the spicy parts; however, with this storyline closing the series I would have enjoyed a bit more heat. The pace of this book (as well as the others in the series) was really enjoyable to me. Again, shorter chapters are my friend. I also really like the storytelling from changing perspectives making for a well rounded and complete tale.
Olivia Wildenstein has been open about the fact that Feather was supposed to be stand alone, it's even written in the beginning of Celestial. I am glad it wasn't, because I loved getting the closure that I wouldn't have had that happened. I truly enjoyed the storyline of the first book - especially since I was unaware of the Romeo & Juliet theme! It was a marvelous take on an old tale. I'm glad the author expanded on the story. The series led us deeper into the world she had developed, expanded on the characters we met, and gave us closure for two loved characters.
