Dared is a beautiful book! I have so many big, beautiful feelings for both characters and cried so many times over the course of this story.
Leo is shy and I'm not talking about red blushing cheeks and holding back in conversations. Leo is debilitatingly shy to the point where he doesn't engage in any conversations or go out socially at all. Leo's one reprieve is gaming and where he meets Finn. Although at first both guys don't know the other- user names and all, their friendship begins here and I love that their story, especially for Leo, begins with a strong base. Finn not only is the best friend Leo has ever had, one of those friends who lets you shine, but loves you for who you are. 😠It's so beautiful...I know I keep saying it, but it's true.
These two men find friendship, become best friends and then their relationship morphs into something more. It was organic and natural and a beautiful progression. Their story is touching in how they cared for one another, trusting and learning each other before adventuring into the next step, even when hormones could have taken over. Their patience and care for each other touched a deep part of my heart.
I have loved each book in the LSU series and fallen for each couple, but Leo and Finn are now my absolute favorite couple. Leo and Finn are a rare treasure with their kindness and sweet friendship, they will touch you. No lies detected. 😉🙌💯
