Dark Harvest
by Norman Partridge
A quick, fun read that’s not too graphic and not too over the top.
I don’t want to give anything away but some twists took me by surprise and I found the ending to be satisfying.
However, the author did this weird thing where he would describe a person in the third person but turn shift to second person as if you the reader were them. That took me a minute to get used to.
I’d recommend to anyone that would like a modernized Halloween tale in the vein of Sleepy Hollow.
