Berserk has undeniably changed and honestly, it had to, given Miura’s passing. Still, this volume hits, especially those last few chapters. They're bleak, they're brutal, and they don't pull punches.

The artwork feels noticeably different. I truly miss Miura’s distinctive, gritty style, but Studio Gaga’s illustrations in this volume are still incredibly detailed and striking. Even so, the pacing feels noticeably rushed compared to earlier volumes. It’s clear that things are moving faster now, perhaps a bit too quickly at times.

I’m really curious how Kouji Mori and the rest of the team will carry Miura’s vision through to the end. Above all, I just want to see how the story concludes. I want to see the ending Miura had imagined for all these years.
