Wow! This is quite possibly the best book I've read this year. I love how Adam Met breaks down how to make a social impact into simple steps that feel doable instead of making it feel like we all need to run for congress or something. I also would recommend reading this after reading Braiding Sweetgrass, because while Kimmelerer talks about taking care of the land and takes a more intrinsic, mind-adjusting perspective, Met puts it into actionable items through an entertaining, easy to follow, and easy to relate to dialogue with his readers. I feel like this should be like a self-help book but more like a self-empowering book to make a difference in the world. I definitely will be revisiting and referencing this book often for years to come.
