I read this in high school but forgot most of it so this was a good reread but I was … bored… for most of it. idk. the julia reveal gagged me it was so sudden that I was genuinely surprised but other than that everything else felt kinda meh to me. writing was okay and story was okay. there wasn’t much excitement even when they’re sneaking around. idk. it’s scary though, it’s not hard to find the connections to reality. first book of FOUR that I WILL finish in these next two weeks because I WILL MEET MY READING GOAL YES I WILL
