Once again, Locke and Jean's friendship turned to be one of the most enjoyable things about the book, as well as their humour; the swearing kills me every time.
Finally we meet Sabetha and... I was disappointed. Nazca and Ezri were far superior and better written characters Her character just feels flat. There were hints of a feminist subplot, of her feeling the weight of being the only girl in a group of boys, but it was never explored.
But what I absolutely did not need was reading about teens Locke and Sabetha having sex. It just felt as a weird fan fiction- and the fact that they are minors was a big no. Same for Jean.
