TJR manages to juggle around five key narrators with ease, and each has a clear voice and personality. It was really easy to envision all of the characters in my mind, and she made Daisy Jones and The Six fit perfectly into the world of 60's and 70's rock-and-roll. The characterization and settings were done so well that you could tell me this was about an actual band, and I'd believe you.
Due to the dialogue/transcript format of the book, it reads really quickly and with a nice pace. Some of the plot points and character personalities felt cliche of your average "rockstar archetype," but she weaves them all together into a fun, entertaining read. Even with the cliches, it didn't feel stale.
