As usual I adored the trans rep—however idk it did feel a tad unrealistic given he’d socially and medically (hormones and top surgery) transitioned within 2 years. Though everyone’s timelines are different ofc.
I did really want to love this book, and there were so many elements I did love, mainly the side characters—Robby and Luis and Mr Stern and Xavier. They were all great! 
I headcanon Robby as autistic (and both Charlie and Jasper too tbh) cuz I mean…come on 😅
I guess it just felt a little rushed towards the end and I would have loved to see Charlie’s feelings towards Jasper grow a little more naturally, instead of going from hating him so deeply for 70% of the book and then a switch flips and he’s in love again. 
Idk, it was really enjoyable and that DEDICATION COME ON!!
