Notes on Your Sudden Disappearance by Alison Espach

4.0

This book has such a melancholy tone but truly encompasses every feeling of grief; sadness, anger, desperation, blame, guilt, and so much more. This book follows along as a family works through their grief and the lifelong consequences it has.

Additionally, Kathy’s sister and boyfriend have a connection. Not only that they were both in the car when Kathy died, but they also have an emotional connection. They continue to reconnect and lose contact over the years. At one point, they sleep together.

This book was so well written and does such a good job of portraying the feelings of each character.
