I’m in love with this book. It could be considered slow but some stories are meant for that, it doesn’t need to be action all the time. The magic was lovely and interweaved in ways I didn’t always see coming. A beautiful story meant for lovers of historical fiction and flickering lights in magical nights. Reminiscent of stories like The Night Circus without copying, it was truly its own story and magic and I’ll sit with it for quite some time.
