Very lukewarm about this volume. All the lighthearted / humorous scenes really worked for me, while a lot of the main plot didn't. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't really care that much about the political dynamics of the Empire pre-revolution. So following a group who felt spurned by the Federacy was pretty boring. I liked the scenes that focused on the Eighty-Six (the wiretaps, Claude and his brother, the Actaeon, etc.) so volume 13 sounds like it'll be more enjoyable for me. At least Shiden got to flirt with a hot girl, I guess. Good for her.
