Okay, wow. I ended up loving this book so much.

The beginning was pretty boring and hard to follow, but I’ve heard good things about this book and I’ve been feeling a certain wild way lately, so I stuck to it.

And goddamn, about halfway in, this book got me in the hardest chokehold ever. I was trapped, reading it all day and night for three days, needing to know what happened next. I became a vampyre myself, hiding in my dark little cave, reading at all times I wasn’t feeding or sleeping.

The conflict/misunderstanding part was a sucker punch to my gut and I had to keep reading, to know it’ll be resolved, to make sure everything will be okay. I hated that feeling so much. I actually got really moody because I had to do things other than read and know things will be okay for them. I’m sorry for my family but they will never know the wretched pain I went through while reading that part.

God this book made me feral. The feelings it brought me, man. This book got hot and heavy and I’m so thankful I read it. This book beat me up. It made me its little bitch and I thank it for that.
