This is not my favorite entry in the series. I did enjoy the plot, which there was a lot of. We get some answers and more questions are raised. There are a few mysteries that I am quite interested in.

Pros: increase in plot and moving the story along, everything Hudson related, the side characters are more enjoyable with each book (Flint is a favorite at this point), and the addictive quality is still there.

Cons: everything to do with Jaxon and Grace which became grating and overly repetitive, I lost some respect for Grace given how she handles certain situations, while a lot happened I am completely unsure how this will be resolved in only three more books, and lastly the book is too long.

I do think these books are a fun campy time and weirdly addictive. However, they are not without fault and could have been even better with some tighter editing (removing repetitive phrases and plot lines).
