Bright Young Women by Jessica Knoll

5.0

I went to it blind and was quite surprised to learn that it’s actually inspired by a true crime story of a famous American serial killer. It’s well written, and the meticulous research that went behind the writing clearly showed. It did such an incredible work of portraying that one particular serial killer as a disgusting human being instead of a charming ‘bright young man’ once played by Zac Efron, and instead, focusing the story on the victims that deserved more to be called bright and young.
