Quick Summary: A dark ero-ro
My Review: Plug and Drain by Darcy Fayton is book #1 in the Plug and Drain Duology. It was released in 2024. It is labeled as an "addictive Teacher-Student Steamy Dark Paranormal Romance."
About the Book: "Vampires crave more than blood when they visit students’ beds. Refusing a vampire student is dangerous. But refusing the headmaster? Impossible."
The following tropes are listed for this book:
• Teacher / Student
• Age Gap
• Dom / Sub
• Morally gray lead
• Spice
In My Own Words: A supernatural hierarchy at a paranormal academy where ANYTHING goes.
My Final Say: This novel is not for the faint at heart. IT IS NOT FOR EVERYONE, PERIOD. It is extremely dark and disturbing. It gets a red light warning plus. It is erotic fiction, and is pretty hardcore. While the story itself does not come off as heavy, the k---play and BDSM does.
Other: Potential readers will need to THOROUGHLY review the author's notes, as there are a number of triggers. I would go so far as to say WARNING, WARNING, WARNING!!!
Rating: 2/5
Audience: A
