Star-Crossed

This book was so amazing, especially for the age group it's directed at. I appreciate an LGBT+ story that doesn't involve violence or extreme rejection for the characters. That seems far too rare, especially among YA literature. Parts of it seemed a little unrealistic, but that mostly had to do with the structuring of their play rehearsals and their English curriculum. The plot and characters mostly worked for me. Some of the predictability and obvious mirroring I can excuse for the target audience.
