Mr. Masters by T.L. Swan
4.0

Mr. Masters was a pretty quick book to devour. I couldn't fall asleep last night so I started and finished this book before like 4 am... and now I'm dying at work.

In this book, you will follow the relationship that develops between Julian and his nanny, Brielle. Now she's never been a nanny and probably has no clue what she's about to do with this family, but dammit - Brielle really needs a break from her life in Australia. She's had boy troubles and just needs to start somewhere fresh for a little bit. Of course, she didn't tend to fall for her boss or his kids along the way.

Julian, is a judge and basically a hard ass dad. He's quick to jump to the other person's defense when it comes to his own kids - mostly because he doesn't know them. They don't communicate at all, which broke my heart a little bit. Of course things start off super shaky between him and his new nanny - but then again, he didn't expect to develop feelings for her either.

The hot and cold of their "relationship" was a bit boring and definitely felt like it was dragging on. This is all due to the fact that Julian had his head so far up his ass and just couldn't admit that he had feelings for Brielle. Well, dumbass, of course you two would fall for each other. You can't have that amount of sex and feeling nothing. Stupid people.

Now the kids in this book were adorable. Willow was basically my spirit animal because of the amount of sass that came out of her. Then there was Sammy, who was so god damn fucking adorable. He was so sweet and innocent. I cherished her relationship with them because they were already starting to act like a family way before Julian started to act like a damn father.

Overall, I still really enjoyed this book. The amount of epilogue happiness brought joy to my tired ass eyes. I will definitely be looking to dive into another one of T.I.'s books - just cause I kind of want to know what Julian's friends are up to..
