All I needed know about this book was that it was about a woman who opens a bookshop. ‘Nough said. But it’s so much more than that. It’s about the ups and downs of life and figuring out what you want in life, and if it’s different from what those around you want for you, how to pursue your dreams anyway and move past their lack of support. It’s about the healing power of books, but also of people and how one person can create a space where lost people feel welcome and accepted for exactly who they are. I loved this book so much!
