Review: I received a copy of this book for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Initially I thought this was going to be a slow burn, but it actually got steamy pretty quickly! I love the friends to lovers trope and these two main characters were so great together. I'm glad it was dual POV so you could see how much both Simone and James were into it, but worried about the possibility of rejection. Also, I applaud any authors writing curvy girls as their FMC!!

There were some added plot points of family drama, references to difficult childhoods, and even some Native land rights issues (bravo for seamlessly including these!!), but it still didn't seem too heavy even with these topics.

Read if you like: friends to lovers, fake relationship, body positivity, and a little family drama too.
