Starclan has chosen one cat from each clan to go on a journey. The chosen cats are Feathertail (Riverclan), Crowpaw (Windclan), Brambleclaw (Thunderclan) and Tawnypelt (Shadowclan). Squirrelpaw and Stormfur tag along. They are to make the long journey to Sundown to get a message from Midnight. Meanwhile, Leafpaw, Squirrelpaw's sister and the daughter of Firestar, trains as a Medicine Cat.
