In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner
3.0
It was not bad and not great, it was entertaining, but I wasn't captivated by it. The book did a fair job of examining the relationships women can have within a family unit such as daughter, sister, mother, grandmother: these characters were all there and the storyline was decent. I know I was supposed to be rooting for Maggie and cheer for her when she turns her life around; but I just couldn't muster up the energy. She was selfish, short-sighted, and immature, even when she "redeemed" herself in the end I still found her annoying. Overall, a fair read.
