The Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix

4.0

This book was totally different from what I was expecting and I went from being super confused, to thinking I knew what was going on again, and then being confused.. again. I can’t give it lower than 4 stars though because I still enjoyed reading it. I love the blacked out pages of the book where we got the inside scoop of interviews, newspaper clippings and even Lynette’s diary. I liked connecting which final girl was based off which horror movie. I liked the shocking, gory parts, and I liked that I kept wanting to read more to figure out who the killer was. The author did a good job of leading us to believe it could’ve been multiple people, at one point I even thought the main character was just crazy (which lowkey.. she kind of is?) I wish I knew more of what happened to Heather, though.
