This is a story about friendship, grief, and not waiting for perfect moments to live your best life. It was giving Waiting to Exhale vibes with the friend dynamic and relationship issues the women have with their partners. I felt like the characters weren’t jumping off the page and didn’t have any personality. Outside of some minor physical descriptions each character seemed the same. Some parts felt rushed, especially the Jamaica trip which based on the blurb seemed like it would be heavily featured.
