This was quite an interesting experience. You read for many pov of those who were affected by a murder and how it changed the way they are. There was one particular pov that I don't think was necessary, but overall, they all added something to the story. The book also jumps between the past and present, which was interesting as well. It's not a thriller, it's more about Idaho and people's relationship with others and with the land.
