THE TAKING OF JAKE LIVINGSTON by Ryan Douglass was a dark and eerie story. The story follows Jake Livingston, an introvert who one of the few black kids that attend St. Clair Prep alongside his more popular and extrovert brother. Along with the racial circumstances he faces at school Jake also can see the dead everywhere he goes. No harm had come to Jake with his interactions with the dead until unnatural murders are being committed and something sinister tries to take control of Jakes body
